PatentNav is the brain child of Dr Edward O'Gorman, who is committed to making Intellectual Property Services more accessible and affordable, especially by using mobile phone applications.  Eddie also consults for internationally recognised HGF Ltd (www.hgf.com).

We keep costs down by reducing the time spent by attorneys on your IP, and help you do as much as possible yourself in addition to using expert sole practitioners with low overheads. Its that simple.

Eddie was born in Kilkenny, Ireland and has over 10 years experience in Private Practice as well as Industrial Practice, and has been involved in litigation in the UK, Ireland and the USA. Before this he spent 10 years in academia (Cardiff, Zurich and Manchester).

PatentNav is less than a year old and has already established a reputation as an innovative Intellectual Property service provider to SME and Start Up companies, reflected in three grant awards from Kilkenny City Enterprise Board, Foras na Gaeilge and Enterprise Ireland.

We appreciate that Start Up companies are under pressure, our fees reflect the current climate. We keep costs down by reducing the time spent by attorneys on your IP, and help you do as much as possible yourself.
